Ukulele- Dramatization of a Song

I develop ukulele curriculum for kindergarten teachers to use with their children, and for them to teach their children as young as 4 years old.

As a music therapist, I like to use different strumming patterns to bring out the texts of a musical story. Here is an example for you.

Very often we learn a song, and we strum all along. Add a little bit of twists here and there, you can also bring out the flavours of the story/ song!

I always tell my students who are going to be teachers that we are not performers, but we use music as a tool for interaction and engagement.
